WHAT WE DID…
Cube 8 Studio was given the first task of re-planning the whole of Senator Groups 50,000 sqft HQ to see if we could fit all their needs within their existing real estate, as plans had already been drawn up for a potential new extension. Our successful space plans showed that we had not only accommodated all their needs within their existing real estate but created a more efficient floor plan that brought departments together that were once apart. We delivered more areas for collaboration, agile working, hot desking, and informal and formal meetings, which embraced Senators Groups dynamic working style.
We designed the whole office space based on a working showroom and this saved us lots of space and enabled us to showcase all Senator Groups furniture in a live working environment setting.
We then commenced with full interior design services for their HQ, we based our theme on a contemporary and natural feel with a nod to their manufacturing background, that embraces the whole of Senator Groups organisation as one.
The shoreditch style partitions embrace Senator groups manufacturing heritage, and the timber surrounds signify the natural textures Senator use.
The blockwork walls give a nod to the industrial side of Senator while contrasting beautifully against the contemporary furniture they manufacture.
We purposely designed the workplace with a base of monochrome natural finishes, this way the furniture settings would always complement the space whatever colour they were. Senator can now update the furniture as trends and new products are released with little expense.
The ground floor is home to the I.T. and creative departments so we exposed the ceiling to give it a cool edgy look to spark creativity.
The tech den is a room for large team meetings to support collaboration, embrace diversity and spark ideas.
All the furniture on the scheme is from Senator groups portfolio which just goes to show you how beautiful, functional and cool their products are with using a bit of imagination with finishes.
The group range includes, Allermuir which is soft furnishings, Senator who manufacture desking systems, task and meeting chairs, Torason who manufacture a full range of workplace furniture.
Senator group have a great range of quality tech furniture which enhanced the place beautifully and catered for their every need.
Senators brand is throughout the interior which sends out positive messages to the staff and their customers.
The tech lab is a flexible multipurpose space where products can be reviewed, developed and showcased in a laboratory type environment.
